The Initiatives provide research-based professional development that helps teachers build classrooms rooted in empathy, critical thinking, and civic discourse. Through our yearlong programs, workshops, and growing student-focused efforts, we equip educators to help young people engage respectfully with complex issues, consider multiple perspectives, and act with understanding and compassion.

As classrooms navigate increasingly complex social and civic issues, teachers need tools, resources, and professional support now more than ever to guide students in developing critical thinking, empathy, and constructive dialogue.   • $50,000 – Sponsor a full year of professional development for an entire school district

  • $30,000 – Sponsor a semester of professional development for an entire school district
