Baquet, Laurie and Rowe named 2019 Larry Foster Award honorees
The third annual Arthur W. Page Center Awards will honor New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet; the late Marilyn Laurie, former executive vice president of brand strategy at AT&T; and former Aetna CEO John W. Rowe on Feb. 20, 2019 at the Grand Hyatt – Midtown Manhattan Hotel in New York City.
Research in Progress: Can employees increase trust in CSR initiatives?
A trio of scholars is conducting a Page-funded study that will focus on CSR communication as a form of public outreach related to environmental disclosures. The project will investigate three central characteristics of such disclosures: spokesperson, reporting style and culture.
Page Center expands reach with new research fellows program
The Page Center has launched an international search for a senior research fellow to join the Center for a four-year appointment. The work of the fellow will align with the Center’s mission to conduct timely and innovative communications research and promote integrity within the professional and academic fields.
Research in Progress: CSR communication as native advertising
In a Page-funded study, scholars Linwan Wu and Holly Overton are exploring the impact of native advertising in the field of corporate social responsibility communication. The research is motivated by the current practice of delivering CSR messages in the format of native advertising.
