Yilan Guo

Yilan's research focuses on media effects and media psychology. She desires to understand the effects of interactive and immersive media on cognition, emotion and behavior. She is interested in how these media influence people’s decision-making, enjoyment and appreciation, as well as how people process information and perceive others through these media. She's also interested in people's different patterns of digital or social media use and computational methods.
