Holly Semanchick-Xhema

Holly Semanchick Xhema ("Jemma") is a 2015 graduate of the Bellisario College with a degree in advertising/public relations and a minor in English. While at Penn State, she participated in CommRadio, THON and the Google Marketing Challenge, and was a tele-fundraiser for the University, personally raising more than $43,000. Her professional career has been primarily in agency settings, conducting digital strategy work for clients in education, automotive, telecommunications, trade organizations, nonprofits, pharmaceuticals, consumer services and entertainment. She also worked in-house at Vanguard in its Institutional Investor Group. Holly currently is a senior content strategist at Velir, a remote-work digital and data agency based in Boston. She and her husband Alban, also a member of the Penn State Class of 2015, live in Philadelphia.
