Mackenzie Mager
is the program officer at Maccabi USA, a Jewish, non-profit organization whose mission is building Jewish pride through sport.
She is responsible for organizing the USA delegation to the second-largest sporting event in the world, the Maccabiah that takes place in Israel every four years. In the summer of 2022, Maccabi USA brought a delegation of over 1,350 athletes and volunteers to the 21st Maccabiah. Since the fall of 2016, Mackenzie has and currently plays an integral role in organizing the USA delegation to two Maccabiot in 2017 and 2022, Maccabi Youth Games in 2018 in Israel, the European Maccabi Games in Budapest in 2019, two Pan American Maccabi Games (Mexico City 2019 & Buenos Aires 2024), the inaugural Maccabi Winter Games 2023 in Germany and the European Maccabi Youth Games 2024 in London.

Rachel Guldin, Ph.D.
coauthored the book “Language Arts in Action: Engaging Secondary Students with Journalistic Strategies“ (Norton Professional Books).
The book presents an instructional model based on journalism skills that taps into student agency to develop communication skills.
Guldin, an assistant professor at Denison University, earned her bachelor's degree at Penn State in media studies in 2009 and her master's degree in 2011.

has been invited to join the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) under the documentary branch.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences extended invitations to 398 distinguished artists and executives to join the organization in 2023. Membership selection is based on professional qualifications, with an ongoing commitment to representation, inclusion and equity.
"The Academy is proud to welcome these artists and professionals into our membership. They represent extraordinary global talent across cinematic disciplines, and have made a vital impact on the arts and sciences of motion pictures and on movie fans worldwide," said Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Janet Yang."

was inducted into the Berks County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame as part of the 2023 class.
In addition, he won a first-place award for sports event/breaking news coverage in the 2023 Keystone Media Awards writing contest for his work in the Reading Eagle. He also won first place for feature writing in the 2022 Football Writers' Association of America writing contest for his piece on former Penn State player Adam Taliaferro.

Jason Fagone
was awarded first place in this year's Best American Newspaper Narrative contest.
Fagone, a writer for the San Francisco Chronicle, was honored for "The Jessica Simulation," a longform story about a freelance writer who created an A.I.-powered chatbot to replicate the voice of his deceased fiancee.
The award was given as part of the annual Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference, a prestigious event for writers hosted in Dallas by the University of North Texas. Its writing contests award cash prizes and publishing opportunities for authors of book manuscripts, unpublished essays and longform journalism.
