Kirk French, Penn State anthropology professor and Emmy-winning filmmaker, will discuss "The Tailgate Archeology Project" as the Football Fridays question-and-answer series continues for the fall. The series is sponsored by the Penn State Center for the Study of Sports in Society and the Penn State All-Sports Museum, and hosted by the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications.

“A Time Capsule from the Anthropocene: A Conversation with James Balog”

The Eberly College of Science is hosting a public talk by James Balog, an internationally renowned photographer, Emmy Award-winning documentarian, explorer, environmentalist, and founder and president of Earth Vision Institute, about documenting human modification of nature and his most recent film, "The Human Element." Tickets (Students with ID: $7; All others: $18) can be purchased at the State Theatre or online. Ticket sales proceeds will fund a Student Sustainability Award in the Eberly College.
