Insights Lab

A new resource that gives students hands-on access to the same analytics tools used by leading agencies, brands and media organizations. In a world where every post, campaign and story generates data, the Insights Lab teaches students how to make sense of it all: what audiences respond to, how messages travel and what actually drives results.

The Insights Lab isn’t a simulation. Students work with industry-grade platforms to track digital conversations, measure how campaigns perform and understand audience behavior as it happens.

It’s the kind of experience that usually waits until a first job — and Bellisario College students will have it before they graduate.

Today’s communications industry runs on data. Employers are looking for graduates who can read it, interpret it and turn it into smart decisions and compelling stories. Students who work in the Insights Lab will leave the Bellisario College with exactly that — practical analytics experience and the confidence to stand out in a competitive field.

BUILT INTO THE CLASSROOM AND BEYOND.

The lab is designed to serve all four Bellisario College departments, from journalism and advertising/public relations to telecommunications and film production.

Students will use it in their coursework, faculty will draw on it for research and student-run organizations will put it to work on real campaigns. Wherever communication and data intersect, the Insights Lab is there to support the work.
