Biography
Jocelyn Antol is 2012 graduate of the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications, where she majored in print journalism. While at Penn State, she completed internships with Penn State’s football marketing team, B94.5 and statecollege.com. She also was a member of the Penn State Women’s Chorale and the group’s small but mighty THON committee. After graduation, Antol spent six years as a newspaper reporter at a small weekly newspaper in coastal Georgia, the Bedford Gazette and the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat.
In 2019, Antol joined Hearst Television’s National Desk, which is based at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh and handles national news coverage, streaming, push alerts and copyediting for the company’s 24-plus television stations across the U.S. In 2022, she was promoted to senior digital curator on the team and oversees three curators, helps with long-term coverage plans and handles several special projects.
In her free time, Antol can be found spending time with her husband, Drew, her stepsons Parker and Maddox and her miniature schnauzer, Matilda “Tillie.” She also enjoys obsessing over her annual reading challenge, taking baking classes and trying new coffee shops.
