Faculty member Walter Middlebook led a team of students to the National Association of Black Journalists Convention in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2023.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion in the Bellisario College provides:

- Career and internship strategy and support. The Office of Diversity and Inclusion Affairs works in tandem with the Office of Internships and Career Placement to assist students in fully optimizing their career potential.
- Access to an array of student organizations.
- Access for students to Bellisario College, University-wide and national grant and scholarship awards.
- Leadership opportunities in the Bellisario College supporting recruitment and retention efforts of our student body.
Alumna Shadé Olasimbo ('12) assists a student during the Short Doc Workshop, which is conducted on campus every spring as alumni return to campus to work with students on short films over a three-day period.
