Each spring, approximately 16 Bellisario College juniors and seniors participate in the Penn State Hollywood Program.
Please do not let that number discourage you from applying. On-campus and off-campus work, volunteer experience and internships strengthen your resume and are valuable in Hollywood. Those are also factors in the decision-making process when selecting the next Hollywood Program class.
All that’s needed for an application is your name, Penn State email address, year and major, contact info, gender identity, two references and a professional resume.
For more information on the program, attend an info session on March 4 or March 5 to get all your questions answered. For assistance on crafting your resume, attend an on-campus resume workshop or make an appointment with the Office of Internships & Career Placement.
Applications are open from Feb. 6 to March 31, 2026, for admission into the 2027 Hollywood Program class. Applications are due at 5 p.m. ET on March 31.
