An assistant professor at American University's School of Communication, Caty Borum Chattoo is a researcher, documentary producer, and strategist whose work focuses on "storytelling for social change." She is the executive director of the Center for Media & Social Impact and co-founder of the Yes, And Laughter Lab. She has also published extensively on the potential for entertainment media to foster prosocial outcomes in a variety of sustainability contexts, including social justice, climate change and poverty.
