A conversation with alumnus Ryan Hockensmith of ESPN, facilitated by John Affleck, director of the John Curley Center for Sports journalism and head of the Department of Journalism. The session is free and open to the public.

Yael Warshel, an assistant professor of telecommunications and media industries and African Studies, and Rock Ethics Institute Research Associate, will discuss her award-winning book, "Experiencing the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, Children, Peace Communication and Socialization," published by Cambridge University Press, as part of the Humanities Institute Reading New Books in the Humanities by Penn State Faculty series.

Session of the Bellisario College Brownbag Series featuring Ryan Bisel of the University of Oklahoma, who will be presenting “Moral Muteness in the Workplace: Implications and Remedies.” The event is sponsored by the Davis Program for Ethical Leadership.

Deepak Sethi, a comedy writer who teaches in the Penn State Hollywood Program and has over a decade of experience writing for primetime television, will present a free public lecture. Sethi was nominated for an Annie Award for writing in 2020. His short film, "Coffee Shop Names," was a finalist for the Tribeca X award at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival and was acquired by HBO Max for debut in September 2021.
