Assistant Negotiator

The Assistant Negotiator manages the implementation, monitoring and stewardship of approved plans for all local broadcast schedules.
Responsibilities:
· Negotiate, adjust and monitor schedules to ensure delivery to client goals and estimates. Work with Supervisor on account and various agency assignments to meet budget requirements
· Provide tracking reports and post-buy delivery analyses on quarterly and annual bases
· Fulfill client requests, collect data and information regarding television ratings/programming and industry/ marketplace/ technology trends
· Execute all buys within client media specifications by the assigned deadlines to ensure client air dates are met
· Update all current, on-air schedules to ensure station delivery within the negotiated agreement and/or to respond to any new problems or opportunities that may develop
· Manage and monitor clearance of discrepancies and accounting functions for accounts and markets on a timely basis
· Post-analyze every buy to original audience estimates and negotiate any additional under delivery weight necessary to achieve goals
· Maintain accurate records of buys, budgets, revisions, credits, etc.
· Review and resolve billing discrepancies on a timely basis
