Qualifications
* 4-year college degree with coursework emphasis in Advertising/Marketing
* Previous internship in advertising/media planning a plus
* Actively seeks to learn about the application of the principles of media, marketing, and advertising
* Pursues information to better understand media, marketing, and advertising landscape in which client and OMG operate
Responsibilities
The Associate, Video Investment is primarily responsible for supporting the Investment team in the development of media plans and coordinating the day-to-day efforts of maintaining media plans for assigned client account(s). This position will contribute to the media plan development in any number of ways including gathering data using agency tools and on-line sources to support the media recommendations and assisting in writing competitive reports. The Associate encompasses active learning through participation to absorb as much media knowledge as possible. The key to success, and foundation for future growth, is being organized and aware.
* Volunteering to take on additional responsibility, but not to the detriment of assigned work
* Being inquisitive and asking questions
* Keeping up on industry news and trends via advertising and media trade journals, on-line sources to better understand the overall landscape in which OMG and the client operate
* Seeking out people in other OMG disciplines to understand what they do and how those dovetails with Digital efforts
* Attending internal and external meetings and presentations including taking part in brainstorming sessions
* Setting up meetings - Handle, answer, and own questions about the billing process/discrepancies
* Prepare media authorizations
* Evaluate and report on digital campaigns
* Coordinate input from client and OMG internal teams
* Issue insertion orders and follow up on requests for information from reps
* Once comfortable within the role, the Associate will begin working on more client facing requests, including building PowerPoint presentations and building/negotiating media plans
Compensation Range: $34,000 - $60,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
