CBS This Morning

The CBS This Morning Broadcast Associate works alongside the shows Associate Producers and Producers in newsgathering, fact checking, securing video footage and tracking data sources. Because of the varied nature of the content within our two hour broadcast, the BA role encompasses a divers set of assignments and responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a team player with exceptional organizational skills, is detail-oriented, and has the ability to both multitask and keep a calm head under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities Include:
- Researching stories
- Reviewing and coordinating copy and scripts
- Gathering elements for taped pieces
- Collaborating with correspondents/producers in various bureaus to confirm stories for air
- Managing travel and transportation arrangements for CTM on-air guests, talent, and crews

Qualifications:
-Internship or comparable experience working on a news broadcast/media
-Bachelor’s in Communications or related discipline
-Able to work under pressure and under strict deadlines
-Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
-An interest in journalism
