Content Creator

Come Recommended

Job description

Content Creators are storytellers. Every client has a unique story, but most lack the expertise and/or resources to tell it.

Content Creators are efficient researchers, creative writers, and voracious readers. They can easily digest information provided to them by a client and turn it into compelling content that educates, engages, and motivates prospects throughout their buyer’s journey.

Content Creators care deeply about results — analyzing content performance metrics and determining what could be improved next time.

In a word, Content Creators are rockstars.

Before reading on, please make sure you answer “Yes!” to these four things:

  1. Check out our website, perhaps starting with what it’s like to work here and our company values. Is working for and growing with our company something you can feel excited about each and every day?
  2. Are you hungry to learn as much as you possibly can about innovative content development and marketing strategies?
  3. Do you want to be part of a team full of passionate and fun individuals who love dogs?
  4. Do you permanently reside in FL, MD, MI, PA, or NJ? (This is for tax reasons and cannot be maneuvered around, sorry!)

What you’ll be doing

Idea Development: Research what’s performing well now and how you can take a new and interesting angle
Writing: Produce different types of content, ranging from blog posts, articles, whitepapers, infographics (content development only), and more using AP Style. More specifically, you will write content:
With attention-grabbing headlines
Around a single core idea
With a clear, solid structure
That helps readers achieve a goal or solve a challenge, per their buyer persona
That adds to the conversation — not rehashes it
That engages readers by telling a story
Supported by new, relevant survey and study data points
For the way people search — not by keyword stuffing
That supports the client’s brand messaging
With a relevant call-to-action
Research: Conduct internet research to uncover studies and surveys to help create solid arguments in the articles you write; compile data for infographics
Social Media: Draft social shares for articles you write
Media Relations: Draft responses on behalf of clients to media interview queries
Content Marketing Strategy: Align clients’ content marketing strategies with their overall business growth goals
