Coordinator, Programming and Logistics

FOX Sports is looking for a Programming & Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles. This position supports the FOX Sports Programming Department in long-term planning and scheduling of its broadcast, cable, and non-linear networks. In addition to maintaining information within the scheduling system, this position is also responsible for coordinating communication within the department ensuring alignment with company priorities and contractual obligations.
SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet with Programming leads for all properties in the FOX Sports portfolio, ensuring long-term schedules are up to date in scheduling system
- Review and publish scheduling data as requested and update internal stakeholders as needed
- Maintain long-term schedules to reflect company priorities and initiatives
- Work within programming group to resolve schedule conflicts and outline competitive challenges
- Support Programming team in budget and ratecard process
- Research and create scheduling models as needed
- Fulfill requests from internal departments as requested – including reports, analysis, tracks of internal and external programming information
- Oversee departmental mailbox as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Excellent communication, organizational, and research skills
- Highly organized, have significant attention to detail, and be genuinely curious
- Flexibility and willingness to pivot to new priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office software with particular emphasis on Word, Excel and Powerpoint
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
- 1+ year of experience in linear/non-linear scheduling and/or sports
- College degree in sports, business, or related field
- Strong knowledge of the FOX Sports portfolio
- Experience with scheduling or database software
