Digital Media Assistant
New York Jets (Florham Park, New Jersey)
This role’s main responsibility will be to support the team’s website and app content efforts. From handling day-to-day website posting to contributing to the content operations of the whole department, this position will also play a key role in working with internal departments to help coordinate and promote organizational initiatives in the digital space.
Responsibilities:
• Post content to newyorkjets.com through proprietary content management system including articles, videos and photo galleries
• Handle trafficking of digital assets for partnerships including but not limited to ad banners, takeovers, channel sponsorships etc. and any associated reporting
• Manage live streams across website and social channels
• Assist the day-to-day upkeep of the Jets Official App, including content placement, page management and push notification execution.
• Develop landing pages to support sponsor, tickets and marketing programs
• Support content development for Jets social media outlets- including, but not limited to, content, Jets promotional events, community events, gameday, sponsor campaigns and the Jets Flight Crew cheerleaders
• Assist in ad buying to amplify content and support team sales priorities
• Assist in app content and card management as well as push notifications writing and distribution
• Compile analytics and build recaps for all Jets digital platforms
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the sports digital media industry
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Prior website content management system experience strong recommended
• Strong communication and writing skills a must
• Intermediate Photoshop and Excel experience required
• Video editing skills a plus
• HTML/CSS, Final Cut and PowerPoint experience strongly recommended
• Strong understanding of digital media metrics
