We have a compelling career opportunity for a high-energy, motivated, Associate-level corporate communications professional. An ideal candidate will have one or two years of corporate public relations experience (or be a recent college graduate with strong internship experience in this field).

The Candidate:
Candidates should have a strong grasp of basic public relations tools, and solid research, writing and editing skills. Candidate should be a quick study with the ability to grasp complicated issues, think proactively and have a strong handle on, and interest in current events.

Associates are an integral part of the team and its overall successes, providing essential support to assigned account teams, including administration and research. Candidates considered will have excellent oral and written communications skills, the ability to multi task on complicated projects, manage deadlines, and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Specific responsibilities include:

Ø Support senior staff, manage select projects and events, prepare status reports
Ø Read, identify and compile client media coverage
Ø Identify appropriate media contacts for upcoming pitches
Ø Identify appearance and speaking opportunities
Ø Handle press pitching, scheduling and logistics
Ø Research to compile comprehensive media lists
Ø Develop drafts of pitch letters, press releases, and other critical PR materials and client deliverables
Ø Looking for an immediate hire
