Manager, Sales Development
Walgreens Advertising Group (Remote)
Responsible for crafting compelling, data-driven cross-platform advertising strategies for wag brand and agency clients across multiple categories. This role will proactively work to build out vertical and seasonal sales opportunities that lead the industry in scope, creativity, and audience solutions and build collateral for RFP’s. This position is a key role that will closely collaborate with internal teams (insights, planning, sales, marketing, business development and more) to uncover and sync offerings thus require a high level of professionalism and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities — Leads internal ideation sessions and acts as go-to-expert for sales solutions and recommendations. Creates marketing materials (decks, sell sheets, etc.) that weave together brand, data insights, and audience into enticing stories for sales. Owns the development of vertical and seasonal sales packages and promotional one sheets based on audience/customer insights, select media product solutions, and Walgreens’ customer initiatives.
Basic Qualifications — Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience with digital advertising, ad agency, media agency, sales, programmatic, or social media OR High School/GED + at least 5 years of experience with digital advertising, ad agency, media agency, sales, programmatic, or social media.
Preferred Qualifications — Bachelor's degree in a related field such as marketing, communications, or business administration. At least 5 years of experience in marketing or advertising, at a media company, client or ad/media agency. At least 5 years of experience working with digital sales teams. Experience working across different forms of digital media, video, social media, search. Note: in-store or OOH media experience preferred but not necessary.
