Join the News Leader. WTAJ seeks an energetic Multi-Media Journalist to take the lead in our DuBois bureau. We value journalism that makes a difference in our community. If you have the desire to own the lead story every night and can thrive in a fast-paced environment we want to hear from you.
What to expect:
As an MMJ you will be responsible for gathering news as a single unit.
You must be a self-starter and have the ability to produce enterprise stories and deliver compelling live shots.
You will be required to write web stories and keep viewers informed through social media.
This is not a 9-5 job. You must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
WTAJ is an award winning station located in Central Pennsylvania. We are home to Penn State University, the World's Steepest Inclined Plane, and Punxsutawney Phil. It's a great place to live and work.
