Ashtabula Star Beacon (Ashtabula, Ohio)
The Ashtabula Star Beacon, a seven-day per week publication with a daily circulation of 9,000, is seeking a multimedia reporter to join our news team. The successful candidate will need solid reporting, writing and storytelling abilities. The Star Beacon is a community newspaper that also takes its watchdog role seriously and has built a reputation for crafting engaging and important enterprise pieces. This general assignment position includes covering the city of Conneaut, including the city council and school board with an emphasis on how public officials' actions affect citizens. Familiarity with producing content for digital platforms, including social media, is required. Knowledge of photography and video is a plus.
