Multimedia Specialist
Applied Research Laboratory, Penn State
The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is looking for a Multimedia Specialist. The role incorporates advanced multimedia technology such as graphic design, multimedia authoring, site-oriented web development (page design and integration), advance publishing (color separation, advanced image processing and design), digital video acquisition and production, professional media acquisition (high-end scanning and color matching, digital photography, scientific imaging, three-dimensional digitalization) and two or three-dimensional animation and visualization. This position will help to develop and maintain a Drupal website for ARL and be part of a team that produces print projects, tradeshow materials and a wide variety of print and digital products. This job will be filled as a level 1, level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 1. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Prior experience with photography and print production. Experience in computer graphics, animation, and web design is required. Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are also required. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply.
