Eric Ohlson

Eric Ohlson is a media production specialist in the Bellisario College and lab coordinator for audio and podcasting booths in the Bellisario Media Center. He provides support to radio production courses like COMM 360, as well as TV production courses like COMM 465, which produces the award-winning student newscast "Centre County Report."

Ohlson is also an adviser to "After the Whistle," which produces a live weekly sportscast recapping PIAA District 6 and Penn State sports.

Ohlson graduated from the Bellisario College in 2018 with a degree in journalism, a minor in kinesiology, and the John Curley Center certificate. After graduating, he served as the lead color commentator and secondary play-by-play voice for Penn State men’s hockey for seven seasons and is currently a public address announcer for Penn State Athletics, providing a stadium voice for more than a dozen varsity teams.
