Biography
Ned was born and raised in Pittsburgh and has spent most of my career there. In addition to his Penn State degree, he received an MBA in 1999 from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. His first job was at MARC Advertising in the account management department. After several years, he moved onto Blattner Brunner advertising, where he spent almost 10 years, moving up from Account Supervisor to Chief Strategy Officer before leaving to become VP Group Account Director at Engauge.
He left Engauge in 2007 to start Chemistry with a group of partners. Over the last 15 Chemistry has grown from a company of five people to more than 170, with a growth in revenue from zero to $120 million in that time frame. Chemistry has offices in Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix and New York City. Its client roster includes Five Guys, Netflix, NFL, H & R Block, Massage Envy, Georgia Power, Atlanta United, IHG and many others. Chemistry has been named Adweek’s small agency of the year in 2016, 2019 and 2021. This year Chemistry was named to AdAge’s prestigious A-List.
Ned, his wife Erika and their children Ethan (17) and Vivienne (13) live in Mt. Lebanon, Pa.
