Steve Jones

Steve Jones, who serves as the play-by-play voice for Penn State football and men's basketball, also covers a variety of Penn State and local sports. He also serves as the lead play-by-play voice of the State College Spikes. He teaches sports broadcasting in the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism.

In addition, communications students and professional broadcasters utilize the Steve Jones Student Sports Broadcasting Complex, housed in Rec Hall, when they work on the Penn State campus. The state-of-the-art complex (made possible with a gift from Penn State alumni Richard and Susan Barry) offers hands-on experiences to students pursuing careers in sports broadcasting.
