Steve Reighard

Steve Reighard joined the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications in January 1998 as a technical instructor teaching digital and analog broadcasting equipment to telecommunications and broadcast journalism classes. Since then, he has added other duties including helping students produce a twice-daily 10-minute newscast and is a lecturer to radio reporting broadcast classes. He won the Deans' Excellence Award for Service in 2000 and 2003. In 2020, he won Outstanding Faculty Affiliate award.

Before joining the Bellisario College, he spent 10 years in radio broadcasting at various Pennsylvania stations. His professional experience in the field includes: talk show producer, copywriter, production/creative director, on-air personality, news and sports. His radio work has been honored with several national Silver Microphone Awards as well as awards from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters.
