Sukainah Aldarweesh

Sukainah Aldarweesh, an Outstanding Adult Student Award winner, is an Integrated Undergraduate Gradaute student majoring in media studies with a minor in psychology. Aldarweesh is a Schreyer Honor College scholar whose research interests are media effects, media psychology, and children and media. Aldarweesh gained her communication experience through several on-campus involvements such as The Daily Collegian, the News Literacy Institute, Bellisario College Peer Mentoring, Undergraduate Research Ambassador, and Children, Media, and Conflict Zone Lab. She also served as a teaching assistant for multiple communication classes to prepare for her future academic career. Aldarweesh enjoys reading, watching movies with her little kids, and listening to soft music in her free time.
