Temilade Adeeko

Temilade Adeeko is an international graduate student who recently completed her master’s degree in media studies at Northern Illinois University. Her research interests lie at the intersection of international communication, media and politics, gender, and sexuality in emerging democracies. She is specifically interested in examining the applicability and limitations of established theoretical frameworks in the area of comparative media analysis for Africa’s media and politics. Additionally, she intends to create new frameworks or modify the existing models in comparative media analysis to make them applicable to the African mediascape.
