Biography
Wilhelmina Antwi was a graduate teaching assistant at Kansas State University where she earned an MA in communication rtudies.
Her research interest areas are in science communication, the Rhetoric of Science, public interest communication and communication within STEM-based non-profits. In May 2023, Antwi received the A.Q. Miller School's Bill Schenck-Hamlin Research Award, which recognizes graduate students' outstanding research efforts and productivity. During her studies at the Ghana Institute of Journalism, she doubled as the multimedia manager of GhScientific an NGO that promotes STEM education & communication in Ghana. Mina also worked with ThreesixtyGh, now Siro360, a media house as a triple threat — photographer, events rep and social media strategist.
Before pursuing her MA, Antwi worked as a content producer on the political and communications team at the British High Commission in Accra, Ghana.
